This feels like a troll. I’m the only one asking but I’ll bite. What the fuck is this burnt ass thing?

The Exxon Valdez spilled less oil than that pizza

I don’t doubt how delicious this most likely is but damn I know I’m going to have heart burn after that.

I get how some people aren’t into super crispy pizza/lasagna but I absolutely love it. I feel like crispy cheese and sauce hits so different than if cooked normally. Same goes for the roni.

I would savor every bite of this bad boy! Excellent cook, chef!

I’m not doubting that it’s awesome. I love a charred pie. But that is black hahaha

I get that add fresh garlic, it’s absolutely perfect.

My favorite “deept dish” in Chicago. Yeah I know it’s not what we traditionally consider deep dish but it’s flipping delicious.

Looks like something my father would make.

I’m sorry, but Pequod’s has almost always looked unappealing to me. I don’t get it and I love New Haven char, but this is something beyond.

  10. Friendly reminder that this is NOT deep dish.

I know it’s good because I’ve had it but tbh, doesn’t look good. Just looks burnt up as fuck

That’s just too dark for me. Dark brown, sure, but not black. I would still try it, though.

Grabbed one of these when I was in Chicago on a microcenter run. so so worth it.

The people who are complaining about how this looks have absolutely no idea what they are missing

Listen I’d try it, obviously it’s a style and people seem to rave about it. Visually though my brain says no

Looks like extra extra extra pepp on one side and extra pepp on the other. Looks amazing honestly.

It’s not burnt it’s Pepperoni’s. The crust is just typical caramelized crust.

Having had this pizza, it is 10x better than it looks. Dunno why its always that blackened

  18. Ryanisreallame

I haven’t tried a pie like this but can we see what a cross section of a slice looks like?

I had Pequod’s last week. It’s probably up there in the top 4 meals for me, ever. Best pizza on the planet.

“Pequod” primarily refers to the ill fated whaling ship from Herman Melville’s novel Moby Dick, named after the historical Pequot Native American tribe, symbolizing doom, diverse humanity, and America’s tragic quest for obsession. Is this pizza one of them? Yes it is.

That’s not a Chicago deep dish.
    That’s a charcoal deep dish.

  22. BussinPizzaMD

That pizza is hella dark even for me!

Dang that is extra crispy! Did you ask for it like that or is that how it comes standard?

  25. UsedWelcome5903

If that pizza were a country Donald Trump would invade it for it’s petroleum reserves!
